This form of martial arts was designed for combat with its slow muscle memory forming moves. Today it is taught as a meditative low aerobic form of exercise which stimulates all your organs, bodily systems, bones/joints and muscles. Over time it will correct your skeletal structures misalignments and enhance your inner strength, flexibility and overall health. The way I teach it is to know what each move means in combat so that the student has intent in what they are doing because without intent it is like having a beautifully colored egg that is dazzling to the eye, but there is nothing in it meaning no substance.
